"Three Generations of Quality and Service!"
It all began in 1917 by three brothers, Meyer, Julius and James Weintraub.
The three brothers believed that if they paid strict attention to quality and service,
they would be able to manufacture "Uniforms For Every Purpose". The
brothers opened a factory in
Weintraub Brothers manufactured uniforms for the military, police, civilian,
as well as custom markets. In 1940, the brothers moved from their
In 1949, the second generation joined the company. Led by the younger son of Meyer, Thomas Weintraub, started at the bottom. He learned the business by traveling the country meeting and measuring hotel employees, bakery and police department personnel, and the like. After developing new ways to improve customer needs, Tom started developing new business to the hotel and uniform industry. In 1960, the original generation started to retire and Tom Weintraub took over as President.
He introduced new manufacturing procedures and expanded the volume. His tenure as President allowed the Company to become a major player in the worldwide manufacture of US Military Uniforms under the Patriot® name. The company is the largest seller of US made Military Dress Uniforms to the Army and Air Force Exchange Services.
In 1977, the third generation joined the company. Tom's oldest son, Tony, became the newest Weintraub to accept the mantle of quality and service in the manufacture of uniforms. Today, Tony is President responsible for production and systems.
